That is why every Friday morning at 6:00 AM, we gather via Zoom for a dedicated time of prayer and worship. This is not just another meeting but a spiritual oasis—a time to seek God’s face, intercede for one another, and surrender our burdens to Him.

Why Prayer Matters

Prayer is foundational to our faith. Throughout Scripture, we see the power of prayer in the lives of God’s people:

• Jesus modeled a life of prayer. Often, He withdrew to quiet places to pray (Luke 5:16). In the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed fervently, surrendering to the Father’s will (Matthew 26:39). If Jesus, the Son of God, prioritized prayer, how much more should we?
• Prayer changes circumstances. In Acts 12:5-11, the church prayed earnestly for Peter when he was imprisoned, and God sent an angel to set him free. Prayer invites God’s intervention into impossible situations.
• Prayer changes us. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us that prayer brings peace. When we bring our requests to God with thanksgiving, He guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

When we pray, we are not merely speaking words into the air. We are communicating with the Creator of the universe, who hears and responds according to His perfect will.

Our Friday morning prayer meetings at Miracle Temple are an extraordinary time of worship and connection. While 6:00 AM may seem early to some, there is something deeply sacred about starting the day with prayer. As we come together on Zoom, we experience the power of unity in the Spirit.

These gatherings are a time to:

• Seek God’s presence. We begin with worship, lifting our hearts to God and inviting Him to inhabit our prayers.
• Intercede for others. Whether it’s praying for our families, community, or global concerns, we stand in the gap for those in need.
• Surrender our burdens. In prayer, we lay our struggles at the feet of Jesus, trusting Him to provide peace, guidance, and strength.
• Celebrate answered prayers. Each week, we hear testimonies of God’s faithfulness, reminding us that He is actively working in our lives.

Zoom has allowed us to overcome barriers of distance and convenience, making it possible for everyone to join in this sacred time, whether from home, work, or even on the road.
