Day 5 | January 10 | God’s Provision

God is our provider. His resources are limitless, and His care for us is unfailing. No matter what we face, we can trust Him to supply every need, not according to earthly riches, but according to His glorious abundance in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

In Matthew 6:11, Jesus teaches us to pray for “daily bread.” This is a reminder that we rely on God not just for big breakthroughs but for our everyday needs. He provides what we need for today, sustaining us moment by moment.

Psalm 37:25 offers a testimony of God’s faithfulness: the righteous are never forsaken. This assurance reminds us that God’s provision is not just financial but also emotional, spiritual, and relational. He meets every need.

The story of the widow in 1 Kings 17:16 shows how God can miraculously sustain us, even in the most desperate circumstances. Her jar of flour and jug of oil never ran dry because of God’s word through Elijah. In the same way, God can multiply what seems insufficient in our lives.

Finally, 2 Corinthians 9:8 highlights that God’s provision is not only for meeting our needs but also for equipping us to do His work. He provides generously so that we can abound in good works, reflecting His love and care to others.
