Day 6 | January 11 | Spiritual Growth

Spiritual growth is not just about gaining knowledge but about becoming more like Christ in every area of life. It’s a continual process that requires our cooperation with the Holy Spirit as He works within us to transform our hearts and minds.

2 Peter 3:18 reminds us to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Grace is not just the starting point of faith; it is the sustaining power that helps us grow deeper in our relationship with Him.

In Colossians 2:6-7, Paul encourages us to be rooted and built up in Christ. A strong spiritual life begins with a firm foundation in Him. As we are established in faith, thanksgiving overflows, showing evidence of our growth.

Ephesians 4:15 calls us to mature spiritually by speaking truth in love and growing into Christ, who is the head. Growth requires intentionality and a willingness to align every part of our lives with His character and purpose.

Psalm 92:12-14 paints a beautiful picture of the righteous flourishing like trees, deeply rooted and bearing fruit even in old age. Spiritual growth is not limited to a particular season; it is a lifelong journey of flourishing in God’s presence.

Finally, Philippians 1:6 reminds us of the assurance that God, who began a good work in us, will bring it to completion. Spiritual growth is not dependent solely on our efforts but on God’s faithfulness to finish what He started.
