Day 9 | January 14 | Healing & Restoration

God is a healer and restorer. He specializes in making broken things whole again. Whether it’s physical illness, emotional wounds, spiritual brokenness, or relational conflict, God’s healing power is available to those who seek Him.

In Jeremiah 30:17, God promises to restore health and heal wounds, reminding us that His love reaches the places where we feel abandoned or forgotten. He restores not only our physical health but also our identity and hope.

James 5:15-16 emphasizes the power of prayer in healing. When we confess our sins and pray for one another, God works mightily to heal and restore. The prayer of faith is a powerful tool in accessing God’s healing power.

Isaiah 53:5 points us to the ultimate source of healing: the sacrifice of Jesus. By His wounds, we are healed. This promise encompasses every aspect of our lives—physical, emotional, and spiritual healing are found in Him.

Psalm 147:3 assures us that God heals the brokenhearted. If you’re carrying emotional pain or loss, know that God sees your wounds and lovingly binds them up with His grace and comfort.

2 Chronicles 7:14 connects healing and restoration to repentance and prayer. When God’s people humble themselves, seek Him, and turn from their sins, He responds by forgiving their sins and healing their land. Healing is often tied to the restoration of our relationship with Him.
